7. Use the Pan / Tilt control to move the blinking highlight around the available characters.
When the correct character is highlighted, press Focus Far.
If you make a mistake, press Zoom In to move the cursor one space right or Zoom Out to move
the cursor one space left.
8. Repeat step 7 until the name is complete.
9. Do one of the following:
If you want to keep the name changes, move the highlight bar to Exit, then press
Focus Far.
If you do not want to keep the changes, move the highlight bar to Undo Changes
and Quit, then press Focus Far.
10. Do one of the following:
If you were changing the camera name, continue with step 12.
If you were changing the name of an area, preset, pattern or alarm, the Select
Name to Program screen appears. Continue with step 11.
11. Do one of the following:
If you want to make additional changes to the same type selected in step 2,
repeat steps 4 through 10.
If you want to return to the Name Configuration Menu, use the Tilt control to
move the highlight bar to Exit. Then press Focus Far, and continue with step 12.
12. Do one of the following:
If you want to make additional name changes, repeat steps 3 through 11.
If you want to return to On-Screen Text Display, use the Tilt control to move
the highlight bar to Exit, then press Focus Far. Continue with step 13.
Press Zoom In
to move to right.
Press Zoom Out
to move to left.
Use Pan / Tilt to
move highlight.
Press Focus
Far to select
character.
