Next you need to mask the area of the camera for motion detection. Click SETUP.

ACTIVE ZONE – Activate (This is default and should never be changed).

Here you must click the start point, and each point of the shape you require, until you join back to

the start point. You can draw as many shapes as you wish. It is important to avoid moving objects

such as shadows, bushes, trees, passing traffic & pedestrians etc. Also avoid fluorescent lights at

night as they flicker.

Sometimes a small area is more effective, such as the example shown.

The sensitivity setting should normally be set at about 30%, as displayed.

However, the larger the total area of the camera screen that is masked the greater the sensitivity

level should be set. Explanation;

If sensitivity is set to 100, this means the least amount of boxes in the mask need to be disturbed

for an alarm to take place.
