RECORD MODE

LINEAR – This records onto the Hard-disk until the Hard-disk is full. It will then STOP Recording.

An alarm will appear on the screen once the percentage of the hard-disk is full, this may be 75%.

This is in order to provide enough time to archive the recordings. However this normally not used –

only BANKS would normally archive.

CIRCULAR – This is the norm. The system will continue to record, even when the hard-disk is full.

It will delete the oldest information each night at the set time (default 2:00am) then continue to

record. This requires no user intervention.
