RATE
It is normally recommended to use AUTO RATE MODE. Here the system automatically decides
the rate to record each camera, depending on the levels of activity on that camera, and across the
system.
However, you may decide that you require a very high level of motion recording on certain
camera’s – such as a Dome Camera covering a car-park (There is a lot of movement of the
Dome).
Here you could set the individual rates for each camera on the system. You could reduce the rate
of a camera that is less important, especially if it covers a wide angle where it is more likely to
capture movement on the screen over a longer period of time. Max 100ips (images per second)
across the entire system (16 camera’s) – that is an average of just over 6 images per camera, per
second.
